Elizabeth Amato Fleck came to Innovative Solutions Health IT in 2010 and it was virtually impossible to find a job title that accurately reflected her education, experience and passion for the medical profession. She was christened 'Health IT Czar" because she had no equal in matters of how technology interfaced with real world medical practices. Elizabeth is that rare individual who understands how physicians work because she was an administrator at a Rochester-based OB-GYN practice. She understands both sides of the EHR equation and is one of the differences that make our company unique. She's also recognized outside the company regionally and nationally as a leader in Health IT. She is a frequent guest speaker at forums addressing EHR issues, has been quoted in print and electronic media as an expert resource in Health IT workflow matters and is referenced by Xerox's Healthcare Division as an expert in Meaningful Use Requirements.
Elizabeth's academic career includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and Psychology from St. John Fisher College and as Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Roberts Wesleyan College where she received the Distinguished Leadership and Academic Achievement Award. At Innovative Solutions Health IT, she is responsible for developing and adapting clinical optimization services in medical practices. It's a fancy way of saying she has the know how to know how EHR can work best for physicians and their staff. She makes it work the way you work. Her experience as an educator and healthcare administrator allows her to put her personal stamp on practices by redesigning workflow processes that are user friendly and efficient. She's been published in Group Practice Journal and continues to expand her knowledge by attending regional conferences and seminars. Elizabeth is recognized as a trusted advisor to practices by providing them with grant/subsidy alignment, federal and state initiative programs, work flow enhancement and EHR optimization tools.
In her spare time, Elizabeth is the proud mother of two sons and enjoys spending quiet moments with her family. She's also an avid reader and loves traveling.
Asked to comment on her work, she replied: "When I sit down with doctors and their staff, they take comfort in the fact 'I've been there and done that.' We speak the same language and it takes away the fear and uncertainty that is common when adopting new technology. I don't just work for them. I work with them and that's what I really enjoy."
"We, at FLACRA, have found Elizabeth to be dedicated, energetic, knowledgeable and professional. She has the rare ability to be responsive to all the diverse personalities in our organization. She is respectful, supportive and always 'goes the extra mile.' She is a welcome addition to the team."
