Innovative EMR Home Page // Meet Our Team // Richard Johnson
Rich began his career with Innovative Solutions in 1995 as an entry-level technician and has risen through the ranks to his current responsibilities as EHR specialist on the Health IT team. Rich laid the foundation for his pattern of achievement while in service to his country as a member of the US Marine Corps and later during his education in Computer Science at Bryant & Stratton College. His disciplined work ethic and hands-on approach to solving technical issues is highly valued by his fellow employees and his clients.
As an EHR Specialist, Rich works with medical practices of all sizes. He's a nuts-and-bolts type person who understands the complexities of EHR implementation during installation and support phases. His expertise in education and training of medical staff during the process is one of his greatest strengths. Rich is the "glue" that brings technology and people together to make EHR work.
Rich's passion for teamwork is evident in his private life. He's President of the Dansville Soccer Club and dedicates much of his free time as a team coach. He has two children who keep him busy and he proudly admits to being a golf fanatic.
In discussing his 15 years experience with the company, Rich offered the following comment: "I love my job. Making the technology work is always challenging but what I enjoy most is sitting down educating and training the medical staff. They are the ones who bring life to technology and knowing I helped make their jobs easier is my greatest satisfaction."
"When we decided on eClinical Works, no question about it, Rich was the person to contact. He is well known in our community for his IT expertise. He has more knowledge regarding eClinical Works than anyone in the area. This EMR project wouldn't have been as successful as it is without his hard work and vast knowledge. He is a great asset to Innovative Solutions."
