Russell Cattat

Russell is one of the cornerstones of the company. He's been with us since May, 1999 starting out as an Application Trainer and then moving on to our networking team. Today, he is Director of Technical Support. It's a position that mirrors his training and experience. Russell attended Clarkson University and the Rochester Institute of Technology focusing on Mechanical Engineering and Business Management which prepared him well for his technology responsibilities. He also spent time in the fast food industry, graduating from McDonald's University and managing one of their restaurants. This is where he honed his people skills so critical to his current position. Russell is that rare individual who is not only skilled in the mechanics of EHR technologies but is also able to apply it in practical ways his clients understand and appreciate.

Russell excels in maintaining and managing our larger client accounts. He's a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and has spent time with the Health IT team as Project Leader. His knowledge of infrastructure implementation and his project management skills blend perfectly to assure medical practices success as they implement EHR systems. His willingness to go the extra mile for clients makes him one of our most valued team members.

Russell's high energy level is also apparent in his leisure time. You'll find him snowmobiling in the winter, jet skiing in the summer and playing volleyball year round. He's also an automotive and racing enthusiast and enjoys a wide variety of music.

Responding to the question what he likes best about his job, Russell didn't hesitate to answer:  "It's the people. They may start out as just clients, but in time they become much more - people I care about. We share a mutual respect which makes my work so rewarding."
